† Award - I.B. 'Budd' Nease's U.S.S. ARIZONA BB-39 and the Pearl Harbor Memorial - The U.S.S. ARIZONA BB-39 is one of history's most celebrated Battleships - and is especially remembered as the ship sunk in Pearl Harbor by the Japanese December 7, 1941. 1,177 sailors and Marines lost their lives aboard the ship; 335 survived and lived to tell of the Horrors.
The Yeoman of this Website takes great pride in awarding the 'USS JACCARD DE-355 Navy Cross Gallantry Award' to this notable Website, and he feels this Website is, by far, one of the BEST he's seen of a Military Memorial Website (and he operates three!). I stand all amazed at what you have accomplished, to keep the Memory Alive for those lost in ARIZONA. It also is a lasting Tribute to those who survived this tragedy, and serves to remind everyone who visits, what can happen again if we let down our guard.
